New Director of IT Architecture Advances Noridian’s Technology Vision

Noridian Healthcare Solutions, LLC (Noridian), a leader in developing solutions for federal, state and commercial health care programs, is excited to announce Shane Sauvageau has been promoted to director of IT architecture. Overseeing the IT architecture department, Sauvageau and his team will continue to modernize technologies to meet customers’ requirements and lead integration efforts with business partners to develop secure and scalable solutions.

Shane’s vast IT and leadership experience will meet this endeavor by identifying, developing and implementing creative IT solutions for our expanding business,” explains Todd Knain, senior vice president and chief information officer at Noridian. “Under Shane’s new guidance, I am confident we’ll continue to stay knowledgeable on the latest technology offerings and design innovative, secure and cost-effective IT strategies for our customers.”
In addition, the IT architecture department supports Noridian’s commitment to eliminating waste and improving processes by introducing automation and robotics to business processes. For example, multiple steps were eliminated within the Appeals department via process improvement and automation, saving Noridian $1.1 million dollars. As a result, individuals have more time to focus on cognitive work and brainstorm creative enhancements, helping to engage and retain employees.
Sauvageau has nearly 20 years of IT experience for government and commercial health care programs. Prior to joining Noridian, he worked for the State of North Dakota in IT. As an Army veteran, Sauvageau supervised and managed a team of network technicians in the Minnesota National Guard where he received numerous commendations for his military service. He resides in Fargo with his wife and children.
