New CISO Emphasizes Noridian’s Commitment to Customer Security
Noridian announces new director of system security to enhance cyber security initiatives
FARGO, N.D. (Oct. 26, 2022)
Noridian Healthcare Solutions, LLC (Noridian), a leader in developing solutions for federal, state and commercial health care programs, announces Bob Gulsvig has been promoted to director of system security, chief information security officer (CISO). He will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring all activities relating to Noridian’s information security initiatives.

These qualities make him the ideal candidate to oversee the department as they continue to deliver the highest levels of security for our customers.”
As director of system security, CISO, Gulsvig will manage the development and implementation of Noridian’s security control framework, which includes security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures. Among other responsibilities, he will validate the organization’s security expectations and compliance for both internal employees and external vendors. Additionally, Gulsvig will provide leadership to the IT security department, fostering a culture and awareness of compliance.

Gulsvig has a master’s degree in management with an emphasis in IT from the University of Mary. He received his bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University. Gulsvig began his career with Noridian in 2019, where he served as an application development manager. Prior to that position, he had served as an IT leader of infrastructure, applications and security within the financial services industry for nearly 20 years.
Noridian’s team of over 150 IT professionals delivers solutions that comply with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cyber Security Framework and Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) High and Moderate standards.
