Leveling Up Medicaid – Noridian Promotes Harish Chhatlani
Fargo, N.D. (June 13, 2023) Noridian Healthcare Solutions, LLC (Noridian), a leader in developing solutions for federal, state and commercial health care programs, promoted Harish Chhatlani to director of account management. Chhatlani is a skilled state health program professional committed to providing exceptional customer service to state Medicaid programs in this newly created role at Noridian.
“Harish has the technical expertise and the Medicaid experience to help Noridian’s Medicaid customers realize efficiencies and savings through administrative services, like call center and enterprise modernization initiatives. He has the knowledge and skills to help state Medicaid programs better serve their Medicaid members and health care providers,” says Cathy Benoit, senior vice president of government contracts at Noridian.
Chhatlani first joined Noridian in August 2022 as the account manager of the Iowa Medicaid contract. He brings more than 20 years of experience developing technology solutions for health and human services programs, including Medicaid and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). He also served as the information technology manager of Iowa Department of Human Services, where he oversaw the income maintenance and integrated eligibility systems. Additionally, Chhatlani worked extensively on the implementation of enterprise technology solutions to achieve optimum automation for the state’s Medicaid primary systems.
“This is a watershed moment for the Medicaid administrative programs in many states,” Chhatlani explains. “Each state has its own unique story, but the themes of unwinding the public health emergency and system modernization run through many at this time. Chhatlani has a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Nagpur in Maharashtra, India. He also has his Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certifications. Chhatlani resides in Des Moines, Iowa.
