Promotions Create New Efficiencies, Enhance Quality for Noridian Customers
FARGO, N.D., (June 7, 2022) – Noridian Healthcare Solutions, LLC (Noridian), a leader in developing solutions for federal, state and commercial health care programs, recently promoted two employees to leadership positions. Becky Kuznia was promoted to vice president of provider audit, reimbursement, and recoupment for Noridian’s Jurisdiction A, D, E, and F Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) contracts. Tina Breiland is key personnel and director of project management for the Jurisdiction D MAC. Kuznia and Breiland both have experience leading employees to implement strategic processes that increase efficiencies and result in the highest-quality work for the company’s Medicare customers.

As VP, Kuznia leads provider audit, reimbursement, cost report appeals and reopenings, and recoupment activities to ensure accurate processing of Medicare trust fund dollars for the contracts Noridian administers. In addition, she will develop the department’s operational strategy to align with Noridian’s goals. With over 20 years of experience working on government contracts, Kuznia’s vast expertise has resulted in process efficiencies and cost savings for customers. She joined Noridian in 2000 as an appeals examiner and was previously the key personnel and director of project management for the Jurisdiction D MAC. A graduate of the University of Mary, Bismarck, Kuznia has a bachelor’s degree in business management. She is based in Fargo.
With 13 years of experience in health insurance operations, Breiland oversees operations for the Jurisdiction D MAC as director. She also develops budgets, relationships, strategies, quality programs and identifies expansion opportunities within the contract’s statement of work and organizational goals. Starting at Noridian in 2014 as an internal auditor, Breiland was previously the internal audit manager. A graduate of the University of North Dakota, she has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and is a certified fraud examiner. Breiland executes her role from Noridian’s headquarters in Fargo.
